Making Advent Wreaths

Had a lovely evening walk picking fresh materials for our advent wreath ..



using an oasis florist base soaked in Water to increase its life ...




adding longish fir twigs to the outer ring




adding some thin leaf greenery to next row





next some Holly .. ouch very spikey




filling center with some pebbles ...




adding some vanilla scented candles in the middle




some fircones to cuddle the candles :)




lush berries .. not sure what they are called .. anyone ?




added some ball decoration and its finished :)




time to light the candle ...

Wales Tales

what beautiful stretches of beach ... Wales Drama never fails to inspire us


we caught the low tide and spend a few hours exploring



Maya enjoyed drawing mega large dragons with her feet in the sand ..



after 2 hours beach combing we enjoyed laying out our hoard ..



Maya took some time studying and lapbooking her found bones and speculating on their origin ..



then turning her hand onto inventing a cat toy made from driftwood ..



which was very well received ..

We have been blessed with uncommenly warm weather and the clearest night skies .. unspoilt views all around ... bliss

water down a bit of white glue


artach googley eyes with glue and leave to dry

babe has been given free use of the most beautiful white pony ever .. his name is Domino :)

He belongs to owner of a most idyllic campsite in a little welsh mountain valley


sunset at the harbour in Barmouth .. my 2 are crabbing from the pier whilst I am sipping a cup of earl grey at the pier :)
